Our Estuary

The Savannah River is part of one of the largest estuaries on the east coast.  All along the Georgia coast is a series of sounds fed by five major upland rivers that empty into the Atlantic Ocean.  Our private boat charters showcase the beauty of our natural salt marsh environment.  Although the coast is 100-miles long, there are over 1,000 miles of tidal creeks and rivers to explore, study, and experience your inner oceanographer.

Our Vessel

Indigo is a 24 foot Sea Pro 245 FLX "Sandbar Boat" ideal for exploring the Savannah River, Wassaw and Ossabaw Sound Estuaries.  Capable of carrying ten passengers, our excursions are limited to six individuals guided by licensed captain and mate.  All charters are private. Safety gear is provided, however, we strongly recommend sunscreen and wearing multiple layers of light clothing to protect from sun, wind, and cooler water temperatures.  Water is provided with a few light snacks, please inform us during reservation of any dietary restrictions or food allergies.  Clients are welcome to bring additional snacks or drinks, including reasonable/responsible use alcohol.
